COBATY International: Who are we?
COBATY International is an international association and a federation of all national COBATY associations.
Its social purpose:
Setting up all kinds of partnerships with public and private bodies:
- To contribute to better living conditions, to the assertion of building quality and to the preservation of the environment;
- To make professions linked with building, town planning and the environment more attractive for the youth;
- To favor social recognition towards these professions.
Elaborating programs of cogitation and proposals likely to maintain this partnership with public or private
Developing the international establishment of the association respecting COBATY's ethics and values of independence which were advocated by its founders.
COBATY International has been an associated member of the Euro-Info-Centre network (Directorate General Enterprises of the European Commission) until the reshaping this network is actually experiencing.
COBATY International has been enjoying an advisory status within the International Organization for Francophony (OIF) since April 2005. The association was reelected for two years in order to preside Mission D « Sustainable development and Solidarity » in the scope of the 6th Conference of INGOs and CSOs accredited by the OIF during the General Assembly which took place in May 2008 in Canada.
